Vintage Georg Jensen Frog Pendant
An unusual pendant made by the Georg Jensen company. The pendant is made from sterling silver and marked with Sterling Denmark on the back as well as the Georg Jensen mark that has been active since 1945. It is a gorgeous little frog with plenty of detail, hanging from a hollow ball design. This sits on the end of a length of chain, which has a little flat panel in the middle that allows you to slide through the curved opening on top of the ball . There is a smaller ball at the end of the chain and this rests up against the open circle to hold securely in place. The piece can then be worn as a pendant or used as a chain extender. Genius! I love the unusual-ness of this fastening and the lovely frog with his bulging eyes.
The chain pictured is for display only.
