Vintage Large Cabochon Moonstone Ring
A wonderful ring from early to mid 20th Century. The ring is made from 14kt gold and has a large, high dome moonstone set in a closed back decorative setting. The moonstone is fairly cloudy and opaque with a stunning ray of light moving through it. I had the stone checked to ensure it was not a ‘star’ gemstone and it has been confirmed as moonstone. It has a grey-ish appearance with a little hint of beige to one side. It is a truly spectacular size and makes a real statement on the hand. It has a truly ethereal air and you would not fail to notice it.
