Vintage Pear Drop Pendant
A pretty pendant from the late 20th Century. The pendant is made from 14kt gold, marked with K14 on the bail. It is set with a large clear stone. This appears to be rock crystal quartz backed by moonstone giving the appearance of a lovely high domed moonstone with a blue adularescence. The look is very effective and the stone certainly gives the impression of a solid moonstone. To the top is a little square blue sapphire. It is a soft and gentle blue, perfectly complimenting the moonstone/quartz. The pendant looks very pretty on a plain gold chain and is an eye-catching necklace.
The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
