Vintage Sapphire & Diamond Angular Ring

£250.00

An interesting and unusual ring from the middle of the 20th century, c1960s. The ring acid tests as being made from palladium; a bit of a rarity in jewellery these days, though it is becoming more popular. Palladium is in the platinum family and has similar properties though it is lighter overall and is more malleable allowing it to have multiple design opportunities. This ring is certainly an individual design with a row of five rectangular sapphires and a smaller row of four little diamonds. The sapphires are a deep blue and look to be natural stones. An unusual and striking ring.
