Vintage Sterling Cloud Choker Necklace
A stunning necklace from the mid 20th Century, c1950s. The necklace is made by the company W E Richards, founded in 1902 in Attelboro, Massachusetts, USA. It is marked with the makers mark WRE on the clasp, which first came into circulation in 1944. It is made from solid sterling silver and has a wonderful decorative link, which to my mind, looks a little like a cloud. It has four moonstone glass cabochons set to the front, which have a beautiful blue glow to them. The decorative links follow all the way around the neck and it makes a beautiful statement when worn.
The necklace is complete with a secure catch clasp and has lovely geometric spacers.
