Vintage Tennis Racket Bracelet
A wonderful and quirky bracelet from the late 20th Century, dated London 1980. The bracelet is made from solid 9ct gold and is a fairly weighty piece. It is a simple solid gold bangle with a difference. To the top is a tennis racket that hinges at the bottom of the handle to create an opening for your wrist. The bracelet has natural tension and the tennis ball on the other side of the opening slides through the head of the racket and the bracelet moves back to secure the fastening in place. Ingenious! A truly wonderful piece with plenty of talking points; solid enough to wear everyday.
