A lovely pendant from the middle of the 20th Century, c1950s. The pendant is made from solid 9ct gold, marked on the back of the bail, and is a watch in full working order. It has not been serviced, but appears to hold time well and works on a wind up mechanism. The make is Verity and it is marked as a Swiss 17 jewels movement. As a pendant, the watch hangs upside down, which allows you to be able to tell the time right side up when required. The watch has a lovely sun-ray edge in the gold and is engraved with the letters DES to the back in a fancy script.
